SHENTON PARK LIVING

At Jo Carmichael Interior Design, we prioritize creating adult living spaces that beautifully combine functionality and aesthetic appeal. In a recent project, we recognised the transformative power of colour in making a room inviting. Our inspiration for this living room design came from a shared love for deep green, which became the foundation of the colour palette. We balanced this rich hue with soft textured neutrals, adding depth and sophistication to the space for a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

To avoid predictability, we embraced creativity and highlighted the entertainment unit with a striking Moroccan blue. This unexpected pop of colour injected vibrancy and energy while maintaining a sense of harmony. The juxtaposition of the blue with the green and neutrals created a dynamic visual composition that captivated attention and sparked curiosity.

To further enhance the cohesion of the colour scheme, we incorporated a luxurious velvet print that mirrored the blue and green palette. This exquisite fabric brought the colours together in a captivating way, intensifying their impact. The plushness of the velvet texture added a tactile element, subtly inviting indulgence and a feeling of luxury.
